Neither my doctor or my OBGYN had said anything so far, but finally it happened: my doctor said I needed to lose weight. I had been anticipating this day, but I was a little surprised when she said I needed to lose 30 pounds. I was kind of thinking she say something sooner, maybe at 15 pounds overweight, but there you have it.
Looking like a fashion model is not my goal, but living a happy and healthy life is. Luckily my doctor intervened and told me that I needed to get my weight back down into the normal range. Thank goodness she did, because being overweight is directly related to the top killer diseases in the United States:
