Kettlebells appear to be the new way to go when it comes to training. Gyms are becoming swamped with clients and space at the gym continues to get shorter. Not only is space limited, but equipment is limited also. Sometimes finding a machine, bench, weights, or treadmill at the gym can be a dreadful experience. If you are familiar with these weights, you can answer the question "What are they helpful with here?" The reason is easy: space.

If you don't think that a gym can offer you all you need for fitness, then kettlebells may be what you need after all.
